New Brush 21 Placed Into Service

The Union Fire Company No. 1 is proud to announce the arrival of the new Brush 21.

Brush 21 is a 2007 Ford F350 with 4WD, a 225 gallon polytank, 250 gpm CET pump. The unit carries 200' of 1" booster hose, 400' of 1" forestry hose, 200' of 1.5" hose, 50' 2.5" hose, rakes, axes, a shovel and chainsaw.

Brush 21 will be first due on all brush, woods, and wires fires.

The Union Fire Company No. 1 would like to thank Moul Enterprises in Abbottstown, PA for the work on the skid unit and hose beds, Diamond State Ambulance in Bear, DE for the emergency warning package, Bolton Signs in Cecilton, MD for the lettering and striping and Metropolitan Communications in Exton, PA for the radio installations.
