At 1500 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for a stove on fire on Lauren Lane in the Oxford Village Townhouses in Oxford Borough.
Chief 21, Rich Terry, arrived and advised of an audible alarm with a sprinkler activation. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the sprinkler system had extinguished the fire, but not before minor damage was sustained to the entire kitchen. He established "Lauren Lane Command".

Ladder 21, with Firefighter Dave Vining, assisted with the sprinkler system.
Engine 21-2, with Firefighter Brian Kelley, staged at the nearby hydrant and the crew assisted with salvage operations.
The final units cleared the scene at 1612 hours. |
