At 1050 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for Tanker 21 to assist the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, Maryland (Stations 8 & 18) on a working Trash Truck fire in the 1000 block of Firetower Road in Cecil County.
Tanker 21 and Engine 21-2 responded with a total of eight personnel.
Once both units arrived on the scene, Command 8 released Tanker 21 but had Engine 21-2 remain on the scene to assist with clean up.
Engine 21-2 was clear of the scene at 1130 hours.

While returning from Maryland, Engine 21-2 was requested to assist the Cochranville Fire Company (Station 27) on a Residential Rescue in the 1700 block of Limestone Road (Route 10) in Upper Oxford Township. Assistance was needed to lift an injured subject out of a basement after a fall due to the steps collapsing. The crew assisted with ropes and rigging and packaging the Patient.
Engine 21-2 cleared that incident at 1219 hours. |
