Just before 0630 this morning, Station 21 was alerted to assist Lancaster County Station 89 (Robert Fulton) on a reported house fire on Spruce Grove Road in Little Britain Township, Lancaster County.
Ladder and Tanker 21 responded. First arriving units from Lancaster County reported a well involved fire in a 2 story house
Ladder 21 arrived as the First Due Truck. Crews assisted with opening up the first and second floors to check for additional fire within the walls. After this was complete, Ladder 21’s crew utilized the aerial device to gain access to the roof area to check for additional fire within the roofline and attic space. Ladder 21 then utilized the master stream device to ensure the fire was completely extinguished.
Tanker 21 supplied water to the first arriving engine before returning to Oxford.
