At 1118 Hrs on Saturday July 6th 2019, Ambulance 21, Rescue 21, Engine 21-1 and 21 Fire Police responded to Lancaster Pike (rt 472) and Mt Vernon St at the border of Oxford Borough and Lower Oxford township for a minor motor vehicle accident.

The occupants of one of the vehicles involved had just bought groceries and were concerned because they would be unable to access them due to damage to the vehicle. Crews from the Union Fire Company made quick work popping the trunk so that the groceries could be accessed.
