Units from the Union Fire Company along with mutual aid handled a fire involving a garage attached to a barn in the 200 block of Lancaster Pike in Lower Oxford Township on Friday, June 14. Engine 21-1 arrived to find a large volume of fire, laid a supply line down the driveway, and lead off with their wagon pipe to knock down the fire. Due to not having fire hydrants in the immediate area, tankers from several departments responded to assist with rural water supply operations.
