At 1020 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to Barren Road and Chrome Road in Elk Township for an accident reported serious.

Deputy 21 (Obenchain) was the first to arrive and found 2 vehicles blocking the roadway. He established the command.

Ambulance 21-3 and Ambulance 21-1 arrived on the scene and began patient care.

Ambulance 21-1 transported 1 patient to Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland and Ambulance 21-3 transported 1 patient to Jennersville Hospital.
