Nottingham Crash Sends 1 to Hospital

At approximately 5pm, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for motor vehicle accident at Glenroy Road and Lees Bridge Road in West Nottingham Township.

Deputy 21 (Obenchain) arrived on the scene to find 2 vehicles involved with 2 possible patient.

Ambulance 21-2 and 21-3 arrived on the scene and began patient care. Engine 21-2 (Lieutenant Greene) arrived. Crews assisted with care of the patients and controlled hazards from the involved vehicles. Engine 21-2 (FF Charlton) was recalled prior to arriving on scene.

Fire police assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police controlled traffic at the scene. 1 patient was transported ALS to a local hospital and 1 patient refused care at the scene.

All units went in service a short time later.
