At 0222 hours, Union Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to relocate to station 25 (Longwood) while they assisted Delaware County Company 59 (Concordville) on a house fire in the unit block of Dogwood Hill Lane in the Chadds Ford section of Delaware County.

Engine 21-2 (Asst. Meadowcroft) marked up with a crew of 4 shortly after dispatch. While enroute, crews on the scene began requesting more tankers for additional water. Chester County Dispatch hailed Engine 21-2 and asked them to return to the station for the tanker.

Tanker 21 (FF Sells) made the response with Engine 21-2, who re-directed to the fire scene. On arrival, Tanker 21 was placed in to a Nurse Tanker role for water supply to the scene of the fire. The crew from Engine 21-2 made their way to the scene and assisted with fire suppression.

Engine 21-2 was also placed in to a water supply role drafting from portable water tanks and supplying master stream devices.

Units cleared the scene and were in station by 630am.
