Rescue Goes To Kennett Square

At 1550 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for Rescue 21 as the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) along with West Grove (12/22/32), Longwood (25), and Hockessin, Delaware (19) as part of the 2nd Alarm assignment on the working House Fire in the 200 block of North Union Street in the borough of Kennett Square.

Rescue 21 (Lieutenant Greene) responded with six personnel. Upon arrival, the crew established the initial RIT in the front yard of the fire building. Shortly there after, the crew was reassigned to the interior. While inside, the crew performed various tasks such fire attack and overhaul.

Rescue 21 was clear of the incident at 2051 hours.
