| The Union Fire Company No. 1 would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and co-workers on the passing of James S. Herr on Thursday April 5, 2012. Mr. Herr, the founder of Herr Foods, Inc. in Nottingham, was a long time supporter of the Union Fire Company No. 1 as well as numerous other organizations around the area. Had it not been for the Herr family, projects like our 1989 aerial ladder and the current Nottingham Station would not exist today. More information will be posted as it becomes available. |
