First Fire of the Year-Dwelling Assist to Rising Sun |

| Fire Box 824 On Tuesday night, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Engine to assist the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, MD for Smoke in the Dwelling. The incident was located in the 800 Block of Dr. Miller Rd. in the Calvert section of Cecil County. First arriving units from Rising Sun went on the scene with smoke showing. Engine 812's crew entered the structure and quickly began to attack the fire, with Truck 8 and Engine 18 arriving shortly thereafter. Engine 21-4, Engine 21-2 and Squad 21 made the response from the PA side of the Mason-Dixon Line and staged on Telegraph Rd, as manpower was quickly sent to the scene.
