At 23:20 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an auto accident on Lewisville Road in the area of Chamberlain Circle, in Elk Township.
Deputy 21 arrived and corrected the location to the intersection of Hickory Hill Rd and Media Rd. The vehicle involved failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and subsequently struck a telephone pole and multiple mail boxes.
Ambulance 21-1 arrived and began patient assessment, while Engine 21-2 and Squad 21 arrived and provided lighting and secured the hazards to the vehicle. The crew also assisted in clearing all the debris from the roadway.
The Ambulance transported one patient to the hospital and all 21 Units were clear just after midnight. |
