At 2030 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for the Tanker, as part of the First Alarm Tanker Task Force, to assist the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, Maryland (Station 8) on a working Barn Fire at the intersection of Biggs Highway (Route 274) and Calvert Road in Cecil County, Maryland.
Tanker 21 arrived and was set-up as a nurse Tanker along the road.
The crews from all three Engines went into the scene and assisted with the fire attack and overhaul.
All units were back in Oxford at 0225 hours on Wednesday.
Tanker 26 (Atglen) transferred to Station.
