| On Saturday the members met at the firehouse for coffee and donuts, prior to the 8 am kickoff of our annual spring cleanup. The sound of trimmers, weed-eaters and chainsaws could be heard from miles around. Oxford volunteers spent much of the day doing several different projects including painting, trimming shrubbery, mulching, planting flowers. Members were treated for hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch. After lunch the projects were wrapped up and everyone got to enjoy the weather and relax.
**Thanks to Sylmar Mulch for donating 4 yards of mulch, and also Lower Oxford Township for the disposal of the yard clippings. |
