Union Fire Company No. 1 welcomed the community during OMI's First Friday and Car Show by opening its doors and fire apparatus for families and children. Attendees were invited to ask questions, explore the equipment, and participate in prize drawings, creating a fun and educational experience for all.

Top Hat Toys contributed a basket filled with fire-themed toys and games, which was raffled during the event. Carson was the lucky winner and is featured in the photos below.

Throughout the evening, children and families took photos in the fire apparatus, joined friendly firefighter challenges, and tried on children's fire gear. The event offered an engaging opportunity to connect and learn about fire safety.

Union Fire Company No. 1 remains open to the community. First Fridays are a special occasion for members to interact and share information about fire and emergency services. Members appreciate seeing children excited about fire engines and look forward to meeting new faces.

The company invites everyone to attend future First Friday events, with more activities planned. Community members are encouraged to stop by whenever the fire apparatus is on the ramp and the Engine Bay doors are open.
