| On May 14, 2026, Vice President Bud Charlton attended the annual Mushroom Festival grant award reception. The Festival awarded Union Fire Company #1 $5,000 toward the expense of installing a French drain at 345 Lincoln Street.
This grant significantly reduces the expense of improving the infrastructure at 345 Lincoln Street. The basement was always wet and sometimes flooded. This is not a good situation for the tenants or the building. Maintaining 345 Lincoln Street is a valuable investment in this long-term income producing real estate that helps offset operating costs.
