At 1527 hours yesterday afternoon Engine 211 was alerted to assist the Quarryville Fire Company on a barn fire. Initial units arrived with a 50x300 chicken house with fire throughout. Engine 211 and Deputy 21 arrived and worked with several other companies to prevent fire spread to an adjacent chicken house, as well as extinguish fire in the main fire building. Tanker 21 responded as part of the tanker task force and hauled several loads of water.
