The Union Fire Company No. 1 is pleased to announce it's 2025 scholarship recipient, Cassidy Brown.

President Fowler and Vice-President Charlton presented the scholarship to Cassidy last evening at the Solanco High School Awards ceremony.

Each year, the fire company awards a scholarship to a graduating Senior who is active with the company.

Cassidy is graduating from the Solanco High School this month with plans to attend Alvernia University and major in Nursing.

Currently, Cassidy is a volunteering on the EMS side, completing over several hundreds of hours and recently obtaining her EMT certification. She will become a Part-Time employee of the company in June.

We wish Cassidy the best of luck in her future endeavors and hope she continues to be an asset to our company for years to come.
