Vehicle Fire in East Nottingham

At 1042 hrs Tuesday morning the Union Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to the area of Barnsley Road and Jason Drive in East Nottingham Township for multiple reports of a vehicle fire.

Engine 21-2 (CFF Kern) responded with 5 members. Engine 21-2 arrived on scene finding two campers as well as a dumpster well involved with fire. The crew deployed a 150’ handline and initiated fire attack. After an initial 360 observation of the scene a second handline was deployed. Tanker 21(FF McCormick) and Engine 21-4(FF Ruoss) responded and pumped water into Engine 21-2. The fire was placed under control within 15 minutes.
