Just after 1400 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted to the 300 block of Reedville Road, in Lower Oxford Township, for a report of a Brush Fire.

Brush 21 (Capt. Kane) and Engine 21-2 (Firefighter D. Messner) responded simultaneously.

Brush 21 arrived and located a fire involving brush and multiple fallen trees, the fire was rapidly spreading into the woods.

Brush 21 and Engine 21-2 quickly contained and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading further.

Firefighter on scene performed overhaul of the vegetation in the immediate fire area before clearing the scene.
