Company assists West Grove on House Fire

At 1929 hours, The Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted to assist the West Grove Fire Company on a reported Residential Structure Fire in Franklin Township.

Engine 21-2 (Captain Kane), and Ladder 21 (Hoseman Nava), responded with 12 members within minutes of dispatch.

Tanker 21 (FF George) Responded shortly after as part of the 1st Alarm Tanker Task Force.

Engine 21-2 arrived and assisted with the water supply while crew members worked inside the structure.

Ladder 21 arrived as the third due special service unit, crew members worked on the roof, assisted with ventilation, and deployed portable ladders to all floors.

Deputy 21 (Meadowcroft) operated in a supervisor role inside the structure.

Station 21 crews operated at this incident for just over 3 hours before retuning to Oxford for cleanup.

Engine 21-2 responded to a auto accident in New London Township covering West Grove after clearing the fire.
