On Monday evening, 33 members trained together on using the company's new Hurst Edraulic extrication equipment.

Members gathered for a presentation on proper use and care of the equipment, before heading to the parking lot to practice many different extrication techniques using the new battery powered hydraulic spreaders, cutters and rams.

Six new rescue tools were placed into service on Engine 21-2 and Engine 21-4. This new technology helps us move quickly and effectively, without the need to setup hydraulic hoses.

The members of the Union Fire Company No. 1 consistently train on all equipment, ensuring quick action in the event of an emergency in our community.
