Today was Career Day at the Hopewell Elementary School in Oxford. Members of the Union Fire Company No. 1 took an engine company over to the school and discussed fire and EMS career options with a group of 6th graders. Pictured is career firefighter Steve Kern answering questions from the group. We hope to see many of these students involved with the fire company some day as volunteer and career firefighters and EMT's.
