The Union Fire Company No. 1 is proud to announce the hiring of Firefighter Steven Kern as our new full-time career firefighter. This new position was generated in 2022 with support from our municipal officials to ensure effective day-time fire staffing levels in the Oxford region.

Steven is a graduate of Lock Haven University and has been an active volunteer firefighter in Chester County since 2007 at the Honey Brook Fire Company where he currently holds the rank of Fire Chief. He resides in the Honey Brook area with his fiancée Casey.
