Engine Runs 2nd Alarm House Fire

Station 25 Box Alarm

On Friday Morning, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Engine to assist the Longwood Fire Company on a 2nd Alarm House Fire in the 2000 Block of West Street Rd. in Pocopson Township.

First in crews went on the scene with fire showing from a basement garage, which later spread up to the attic space.

Engine 25-1 was the first to arrive, followed by Tower 24 and other units. Crews placed 4 lines in service, as firefighters from Chester County, Delaware County and New Castle County, DE worked together to control the fire.

Engine 21-1 made the response and the crew assisted with operations in the attic of the structure.
