On Sunday morning, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for the Backhoe on fire in the 2600 Block of Lewisville Rd. In Elk Township.

Assistant 21 arrived with a Backhoe well off, with exposure to a barn.

Engine 21-2 arrived, with the crew stretching a handline to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to the nearby barns.

Engine 21-4 and Tanker 21 also made the response and their crews checked the barns for heat and assisted with cleanup.
