On Saturday evening, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted to the 500 Block of East Christine Rd in West Nottingham Twp for the Auto Accident.

Responding units arrived on scene with a two vehicle accident and a broken telephone pole.

Station 21 EMS obtained patient sign offs, while the Engine and Rescue crews secured the hazards and provided lighting for the scene.

Fire Police closed down East Christine Rd to ensure the safety of emergency responders and remained on scene until PECO arrived.

This was the second call for the department, with 11 members assisting the West Grove Fire Company on a search detail. Engine 21-1 also handled a third call during this time in Oxford Borough, with more than 25 volunteers committed to the various incidents.
