The National Fire Protection Association theme of Fire Prevention Week 2020 is “Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen.” Cooking is the leading cause of home fires and home fire injuries in the U.S. Use this time to educate your family on cooking hazards, the dangers of unattended cooking, and precautions they can take to prevent cooking-related fires.
