Early in the morning, 15 members participated in our annual Drivers Refresher. Engines 1 & 2, along with the Tanker proceeded to a pond on the Herr’s property where all members rotated between operating the supply engine and the attack engine. This pond is used frequently for fires in the southern end of our district and is an important part of our rural water supply plan.

Later in the day, 12 members spent their evening staffing the firehouse from 4pm to 11pm. Training on RIT Operations was conducted while a few members worked on wrapping up the installation of our new station alerting system. One run was handled by the duty crew, with both an engine and ladder arriving on scene within 5 minutes of dispatch.
