Box 2113

Shortly after 8AM, the Union Fire Company No. 1, along with 2 Engines and the Truck from the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun, Lancaster Tanker 89 and Rescue 27 for the RIT, were alerted to the Unit Block of S. Quarry Rd in West Nottingham Twp. for the Mobile Home Fire.

Engine 21-4 arrived and laid supply line in from West Ridge Rd as the crew prepared to stretch a hand line to the front door. Engine 21-1 arrived next and their crew assisted with primary search and fire attack.

The bulk of the fire was knocked down quickly, with the incident scaled back to the 21 units.

Chief 21 held the Command, with Past Chief Obenchain serving as the Operations Officer.

The Chester County Fire Marshall's office investigated the incident, with all units clear in just over 2 hours.
