Just after 9pm on Wednesday evening, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Auto Accident on the Rt. 1 Bypass Southbound at Mile Marker 1.8 in West Nottingham Township.

Chief 21 and the Ambulance arrived with a 2 vehicle accident with one in the shoulder and one in the roadway.

Engine 21-4 arrived and took a blocking position on the highway to protect first responders from any additional traffic coming down the road.

Rescue 21 and Engine 21-1 arrived, with crews assisting with patient care and securing the vehicles.

Station 21 EMS transported two people to local hospitals, with Medic 94 also being added.

The 21 Units were clear in just over an hour.
