Mother Nature provided the first true test of Winter as a Nor'Easter dumped over 15" of snow across the region. With heavy snow, high winds, and deteriorating road conditions, the members jumped into action around the stations. The members did there best to clear the ramps, parking lots, and sidewalks throughout the storm.
The Mid-Town Station was also staffed throughout the event with two EMS crews and an Engine crew to insure a quick response if needed. The crews kept themselves busy with snow removal, an XBox 360, the Wii, and tons of food.
Fortunately, only a few EMS calls were dispatched. The Engine crew responded in Squad 21 to provide additional manpower as well as 4-wheel drive if necessary.
