Fire Box 846

At 0635 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an Engine and Tanker to assist the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun (8) on a reported house on fire in the 100 block of Woody Brown Road in the Rock Springs section of Cecil County, Maryland.

Engine 28 arrived with a 1-story ranch style house with fire showing from side Alpha.

Engine 21-2 (Lt. Vitanza) responded with a crew of six. Upon arrival, the Engine crew assisted on the interior performing a secondary search of the entire house and opening up.

Tanker 21 (FF Slauch) arrived supplied the scene with their water.

The Oxford units cleared the incident and returned home at 0804 hours.
