Fire Box 842

At 1325 hours, just moments after returning from a morning Water Supply Drill in Rising Sun, Maryland, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for Tanker 21 to assist the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun (8) and a working Building Fire on Canterbury Court in the West Nottingham section of Cecil County. Tanker 21 (FF Vitanza) responded at dispatch.

Moments later, the company was alerted again for one Engine on the Working Fire Dispatch. Engine 21-2 (Deputy Chief Obenchain) marked up with a crew of four.

Upon arrival, both units joined the Water Supply operations, shuttling several loads of water from a nearby pond at the West Nottingham Academy.

The crew of Engine 21-2 assisted at the scene with fire suppression and overhaul operations.

The final Oxford units were clear of the scene at 1643 hours.
