At 0055 hours, Rescue 21 was alerted for the Rapid Intervention Team assignment to assist the Quarryville Fire Company (57) on a working Building Fire at CL Self Storage in the 100 block of South Lime Street in the Quarryville Borough.

Rescue 21 (Safety Officer Booth) responded with a crew of four (4). Prior to arrival, Rescue 21 was re-assigned from RIT to assist with opening up and overhaul operations.

Upon arrival, the crew went to the rear of the fire building and assisted in opening up the wall with saws. Once that task was completed, the Crew assisted with removing items of the affected storage units.

Rescue 21 remained on the scene until being returned to service at 0433 hours.

During this incident, the Union Fire Company No. 1 responded to an Odor Investigation inside a house in the Century Oak section of East Nottingham Township and assisted the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun (8) with an Engine and Ambulance and Motor Vehicle Collision with multiple people trapped at the intersection of US Route 1 and Red Pump Road in Cecil County, Maryland.
