Rescue Box 2152

At 0924 hours, the Union Fire Company No. 1 and Medic 94 (SCCEMS) were alerted for a Motor Vehicle Collision reported Serious at the intersection of North Third Street and Commons Drive at the north entrance of the Oxford Commons Shopping Center in Lower Oxford Township. The Oxford Borough Police Department was on the scene of the two vehicle crash and reported one Patient with a head injury.

Ambulance 21-3 arrived and began Patient assessments. They then confirmed Entrapment in the one vehicle, however, determined that no Advanced Life Support was needed. Medic 94-1 was cancelled.

Rescue 21 (FF W. Slauch) arrived and the crew stablized the vehicle and worked to removed the driver's door. Additional arriving units assisted with the extrication.

Once removed from the vehicle and turned over to EMS, the Patient was then transported to the Paoli Hospital.

The scene was then turned over to law enforcement for investigation and the final units were clear of the incident at 0942 hours.
