Tanker 21 Placed Into Service

The Union Fire Company No. 1 is proud to announce that the new Tanker 21 has been placed into service.

Tanker 21 is a 2016 Pierce/Kenworth T880 Dryside Tanker. It is equipped with a 3000 gallon poly water tank, a 1250 gpm Hale Pump, 10" electric side dumps, a 12" electric rear dump, two (2) Husky 3000 gallon folding portable tanks on Zico Quic-Lift hydraulic racks, dual rear 3" direct tank fills, one (1) 200' pre-connected 1.75" crosslay, 300' of 3" hose, four (4) 10' sections of 6" hard suction hose, two (2) Pike Poles, and all 12 volt LED scene and emergency lighting.

The new Tanker 21 replaces the 1990 Mack/1996 Walker-New Lexington 6000 gallon tractor trailer.
