On Saturday afternoon at 17:06 hours, Station 21 and mutual aid units were alerted to 405 Market Street in Oxford Borough for a reported building on fire. The working fire dispatch was quickly transmitted bring additional mutual aid units to the scene. Deputy 21 was first arriving, confirming fire showing on the bravo side of the mixed occupancy and established the "Market Street Command".

Crews completed fire suppression activities on both the interior and exterior of the building. The fire was placed under control at 18:30 hours with members remaining on-site working into the evening hours.

While units were still being returned to service, Chief 21 located smoke in the building in a division two apartment mid-block.
