For our weekly Drill, members utilized the Southern Chester County Fire Chiefs Association Training Trailer to practice many aspects of fire incident response.
The trailer was purchased by fire companies in Southern Chester County, through the assistance of a Federal Grant. With the innovated design of the trailer, each company is able to have the mobile unit dropped off at their firehouse, to spend valuable time training on a variety of scenarios.
Members of the Fire Company spent the night practicing responses to a fire in a single family home, focusing on the assignments of the 1st Due Engine (Supply Line, Scene Size up, Initial Fire Attack) and 1st Due Truck (Ground Ladders, Primary Search, and Initial Ventilation).
