For the third time in four days, the Union Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for an auto accident at the intersection of Forge and Hopewell Rd. in East Nottingham Township.
Reports to Chester County 911 stated a two vehicle accident blocking the roadway.
Ambulance 21-1 arrived first and reported that one of the vehicles had left the roadway and was on its side, with one patient who needed medical attention.
Engine 21-3 arrived and Lieutenant 21 assumed Forge Road Command, as Engine 21-2 went on location soon after.
The Engine crews took care of the hazards while Ambulance 21-1 transported one patient to the hospital, with all 21 Units available shortly after 13:00 hours.
